APPOIntment & CANCELLATION POLICY

Shear Impressions Salon & Boutique, believe your appointment is very important. Your service(s) have been reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 48 hours notice for cancellations. The salon does welcome walk-in appointments but is primarily a “by appointment” business, therefore, last minute cancellations can have a great impact to our business and that of our technicians. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our WAIT-LIST miss out on availability. Our policy requires a credit card on any individual, parties and multiple or extended services over 2 hours . The required credit card will be put on file at time of booking and confirming your appointment.

Appointments: require a credit card to be on file at time of booking In order to guarantee the appointment, The card on file will not be charged, Unless you give sufficient cancellation notification.

A cancellation fee will be charged for less than 24 hours cancellation notice or a “No Show” appointment! Our appointments are confirmed 24 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago.

Less than 24 hour notice a cancellation fee will be charged equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.

“NO SHOWS”- “NO CALL” will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.

Appointments made within the 24 hour period and need to cancel, the client then must cancel within 4 hours of appointment time or will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.

Multiple services not cancelled 48 hours in advance will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.

Bridal Parties Booked on the same day for 2 or more people, or if single services are booked for multiple people. Depending on the number of services, a non- refundable deposit that equals 50% of all services is required to hold the date for appointments. This deposit is refundable only if services are cancelled with at least one week notice. No refunds are given on cancellations with less than one week notice. The deposit will be applied toward the services on the day of appointments.

Confirmation Emails/Text- As a courtesy, we will EMAIL or TEXT to confirm your service appointments prior to your appointment date. You will receive a text when the appointment is booked and a 24 hours reminder text. A credit card is required to guarantee your appointment at time of confirming your appointment. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and the cancellation fee. Services – The Salon does not issue refunds on salon services, however we strive to give the utmost satisfaction to our clients and if you are not satisfied with the work performed, we will make every effort to ensure your satisfaction. Should you have any concerns please contact the salon coordinator within 7 days so we may address these concerns in a timely fashion. At that time we will reschedule you with the stylist that performed your service initially and make any changes or adjustments. Shear Impressions Salon & Boutique will gladly make any adjustments to your hair at not cost to you within 2 weeks of original service.

The cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping our scheduled filled, thus better serving everyone.
